Welcome

CCBC is experiencing a great transition.  Let me first say, we are NOT transitioning from the Scriptures or traditional worship.  What we are experiencing is a transition in growth.  In the last year and a half we have tripled in attendance. We are anticipating great growth in the year to come.

What can you expect?

1) A sincere friendly welcome.  We want you to know that we are glad that you are here and we are honored to have you visiting with us.  We will assist you in helping you find Sunday School classes for all the age groups present, where all of the personal facilities are or where you can go and have a coffee and donuts before the service.

2) A traditional worship service.  Our music is first and foremost an offering to the Lord Jesus Christ.  We feel the best way to accomplish that is to be sure it is sung in a way that exalts the Lord not the singer(s).  Although, we are not against all new music, we primarily sing the traditional hymns for our congregational singing.  We will also sing choruses and newer music that exalts the Lord.  We encourage our church members (adult, teens and children) to be involved in special music not based upon talent but upon desire to honor the Lord.

3) Preaching that is Bible based.  The message that all of us need is found in God's Word.  We on purpose try not to stray from the Scriptures.  Most messages will be in an expository style with practical applications made for our every day lives.

4) An opportunity to make a decision.  At the conclusion of each service we have a time of decision or what we call an "invitation".  It is an invite to come and pray at the altar or at your seat.  We would honor your request to have someone pray with you or if you would rather talk to the Lord privately.  Our desire is for each person to be obedient to the Lord.

5) Fellowship.  After the service, many of our people stick around and talk with friends.  Many will go and have lunch together.  One of the great blessings of being a part of a church is the friendships that are made with like minded people.  Some of the greatest friends you will ever meet are found in church.

As I said, we are a church in transition.  After several years of declining attendance (bottoming out around 20) we have experienced a year of great growth.  The Lord has been so good to us and we are grateful for what He has done.  We look forward to what this second year has in store for us.

Thanks for taking the time to look at our website.  We would be honored to have you visit us at one of our services!

Because of His Grace and Mercy,

Pastor Mark Carpenter
