Our Pastor and Family
Pastor Mark CarpenterMy wife, Rachael, and I were married in June 1994. We then moved to Londonderry, NH, where we started working at Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Calvin Fuller. I was the Youth Director, Christian school teacher, and sports administrator at Victory for eight years. Also, during our time in NH the Lord blessed us with two boys, Titus and Silas. The Lord moved us in 2002, and I became the senior pastor at Fellowship Baptist Church in Emlenton, PA for eight years. During that time, the Lord began working in my heart about a possible church plant. After much prayer and searching for an area, the Lord settled our hearts on Columbus, OH. Soon thereafter, Capitol City Baptist Church was brought to our attention by several pastors. I became the pastor of CCBC on the last Sunday of August, 2010. We are happy to be serving here in Columbus, and are excited to see what the Lord is going to do with this revitalization.
